Creative needlework meets mindful stitching
Cross Stitch Meets Modern GIFs
How did I go from taking a cross stitch pattern to making it into a moving GIF animation?
I was mainly inspired by how I view cross stitching in general. When I look for a pattern to stitch I am drawn to those that tell a story or ones that mirror a story within myself.
Taking a pixelated image and reimagining it as an animated short brings it to life in a way that idle stitches aren’t able to do.
Plus they are cute! Check out my “Hang in There” rock climbing penguins within my GIPHY catalog – they are sure to inspire a smile. 😄
